The Mohamed Ali and the Ottoman families are sad to inform you of the loss of Prince Osman Rifaat Ibrahim.
He was born on 20 May 1951 in Switzerland and died on 1st February 2025 in Alicante, Spain.
His father was the Nabil Amr Ibrahim and his mother HIH Necla Hibetullah Sultan.
He was the last direct descendant of Ibrahim Pasha, eldest son of the Great Mohamed Ali Pasha. With the passing away of Prince Osman, the senior branch of the Mohamed Ali family is now sadly extinct.
His nearest surviving relative is his nephew Dr. Seif Ullah Negmeddin Shahin.
