A painting of Muhammad Ali Pasha by Auguste Couder, a French artist who visited Egypt in 1844 and was commissioned by the pasha to paint his portrait. The painting shows the pasha in his military uniform, holding a sword and a map of Egypt. The painting is now in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
